8/10/13 Report

Had good luck early and up to about 1 hour after sunrise, then it just shut down for me. Had 1 good bite late am around 11:30 out of a laydown, but most came on spook-zilla, a fluke, a dead-ringer, and a drop shot. Got in a school of jumpers, and just couldn't resist seeing how many different baits they would bite. Sure wish one of these big Powerball winners would build a new, multi-lane ramp somewhere near Willow Point again. Waited a half hour just to get the boat out of the water.

I agree.  We need more and larger ramps.  BTW, what are you calling a "jumper".

"Schoolers" but these were coming full body out of the water. Had they been a little closer, I could have just used my net.

big_smile  gotcha.  I've seen largemouths do aerials.  The spots I was on just bust the surface or swirl the water.
