Its Hot!

The water came up about 6 degrees over two days. Tuesday evening was an incredible sight. After a full day of sun, the fish were hugging the warm rocks and doing their circle of life thing. If this rain and front does not mess up the water, I suspect that the bite for 2 weeks will be incredible.

Strategically choose the depth of the area and location in relation to creeks.

Re: Its Hot!

Yep. However, I failed to specify that on this particular date; I was fishing primarily for crappie. Here is a picture I took of a crappie that went 3 pounds. To answer the question on how many; culls included - my co-angler and I caught at least 130 on this date.

Re: Its Hot!

We were throwing jigs. Bright red head with black and chartreuse curly tail. Also, a red white and blue grub.
